In an unpredictable series of events, last weekend during my ride home, my Uber driver/actor began talking about his proficient pancake skills. After sharing the step by step directions to cook – from scratch – his favorite pancakes back home in Boston, I decided that he should put his money where his mouth is and prove that this skillet skill-set was in fact, no joke. To my surprise, Kevin showed up Saturday morning with two bags full of groceries, as he was ready to make me a “Belated 30th Birthday Pancake Brunch Bash.”

Happy National Pancake Day, FanCakes! One of the best days of the year.
Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP restaurants have raised almost $16 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate. On March 3, 2015, guests from around the country will celebrate a “Decade of Giving” with the tenth annual National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants and enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes. In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals© or other designated local charities. Their goal this year is $3.5 million for charity!
Bieber Bodyguard Accused of IHOP Assault

After trying to capture shots of the pop star eating pancakes, apparently one of Justin Bieber’s bodyguards “roughed up” a photographer at an IHOP in Encino, CA. The photographer filed a battery report with cops after he was “injured slightly.” Who knew IHOP stood for International House of Pansies?
